Empowering women in need with free martial arts
Pink Belt Project empowers women in need by gifting them with scholarships providing one year of FREE training in the traditional martial arts (Taekwondo, Karate, Jiu Jitsu) at their nearest club.
The project was started in 2018 by West Australian Black Belt mum Kristy Hitchens aka The Mortal Mouse Taekwondo Blogger and is backed by Australian Taekwondo.
Fundraising for 2021 Pink Belt Scholarships is now underway.
Scholarship applications opened for 6 weeks on Thursday, October 1, 2020 and you can read more about applying HERE>
Read the powerful stories below by Pink Belt Scholarship recipients about the impact their training is having on their lives. And if you have any questions, feel free to email Project Founder Kristy Hitchens (firstname.lastname@example.org with PINK BELT QUERY in the subject line) or message the FB page.
