2021 BANKWEST/CHANNEL 9 ‘BEST OF THE WEST’ AWARD WINNER
Pink Belt Scholarships provide a year of training in any of the Traditional Martial Arts at the recipient’s nearest local club. Scholarships are provided through fundraising, corporate donors and sponsorship by martial arts clubs.
Pink Belt Scholarships are also offered to teen girls with special needs via sister project:
Pink Belt Project was started in 2018 by West Australian Black Belt mum Kristy Hitchens (aka The Mortal Mouse Taekwondo Blogger) who was inspired by the journey of a friend impacted by domestic violence.
All Pink Belt Scholarship applications for 2021 are now closed. Read the powerful stories below by Pink Belt Scholarship recipients about the impact their training is having on their lives. And if you have any questions, feel free to email Project Founder Kristy Hitchens (kristy@pinkbelt.com.au) or message the FB page.
